Stepping into the Seaton Heights Hotel is like a time warp the interior is very old

Much of the hotel has been trash by local youths with nothing better to do

The reception seems the hardest hit along with the rooms are corridors

Nature is reclaiming the pub with the whole area growing in greenery and bushes in the corners of the room

Locals seem to be using the area as a dumping ground as rooms seem full with clutter and household rubbish

The Gym was surprisingly not to bad and mostly intact apart from upstairs where the floor has gone through

History of Seaton Heights Hotel

The hotel starts out as Hawks eye Motel and owned by the May Family before turning into a hotel.

It is located at the summit of Seaton Down Hill with breath taking views across the Axe Valley Nature Reserve

It boasted of 26 en-suite Bedrooms and a view of the sea in the top floor bedrooms. When open it had a Restaurant, Bar, Sports Hall, Swimming Pool, Squash Court, Sauna, and Gym.

It closes in 2004/2005 where planning permission was sought to turn this into an improved hotel which was all but turned down
